“Everywhere looks like somewhere I’ve marched” – Lynn Harris walking around DC
On Thursday, January 3rd, Lynn Harris and I went to DC representing Team Persisticon to celebrate the swearing in of the 116th Congress of the USA on the invitation of EMILY’s List.
Everyone who came to a Persisticon event or supported our endeavors created this historic moment, and it’s hugely important for us to celebrate our progress and savor our wins. WE DID THIS. The most diverse Congress, with the highest concentration of women in the history of our country.
We were especially encouraged by Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s clear commitment to protect abortion rights.
